Áfricas: visões contemporâneas
O continente africano é prenhe de significados que superam uma visão unificadora. Os cinquenta e quatro países apresentam uma produção artística, literária e de pensamento alinhada ao contemporâneo que se expressa tanto em seu território quanto no espaço diaspórico, especificamente do que convencionamos aqui chamar
de terceira diáspora, ocorrida entre o final do século XX e começo do século XXI. Com múltiplas expressões culturais formadas também pela atuação de múltiplos processos de diáspora e colonização ao longo dos séculos, a diversidade cultural do continente muitas vezes é subestimada em prol de uma unidade inexistente. (COLE, 2018; GUERREIRO, 2010)
Nesta edição temática, a revista pretende abordar questões relacionadas a essa produção contemporânea, podendo ser abordadas questões a partir de, mas não somente restritas aos seguintes pontos: 1. Produções audiovisuais realizadas no continente africano ou na diáspora
2. Arte contemporânea africana (incluindo aí a diáspora)
3. Produção literária e dramatúrgica
4. Novos compositores e formas musicais
5. Feminismo africano
6. Afrofuturismo e afropolitanismo
7. Pós-colonial e decolonial Receberemos, também, contribuições sobre quaisquer outros assuntos para as
seções atemáticas da Revista:
1. Resenhas de livros lançados nos últimos 12 meses
2. VersoReverso (poesias, crônicas, contos)
3. Entrevistas
4. Relatos de viagem

The African continent is full of signifiers, that stand beyond a unifying point of view. The Fifty-Four countries present a production in terms of thinking, arts and literature in tune
with contemporary times in their own territory as well as in the diaspora, more specifically in what we call here the third diaspora, that happened between the end of the XXth century and the beginning of the XXI st. With several cultural expressions created in part due to multiple processes of diaspora and colonization through times, the cultural diversity of the continent is often underestimated favoring a non-existing unity. (COLE, 2018; GUERREIRO, 2010)
In this thematic issue, our magazine intends to approach questions related to this contemporary production, with papers that center around, but are not limited, to the
following issues:
1. Audiovisual productions of the African continent or its diaspora
2. Contemporary African Art (including the diasporic ones)
3. Literary and Dramaturgical production
4. New composers and musical forms
5. African Feminism
6. Afrofuturism and Afropolitanism
7. Postcolonial and decolonial
We will also receive contributions on any other subject for the athematic sections of the
magazine:
1. Reviews of books published in the last 12 months
2. VersoReverso (poetry, chronicles, short stories)
3. Interviews
4. Travel reports
5.
